Launched to a fishing vessel off Looe with an engine room fire. The fire was out on arrival and the vessel towed to Plymouth before being inspected by the fire service.
A racing yacht taking part in a race and heading to the finishing line in Plymouth ended up going aground in Crownhill Bay in the early hours of 09/05/13. Both Plymouth All Weather and Inshore Lifeboats were launched. A coastguard managed to get onto the beach and assist the skipper off his boat and onto the beach. They then required further assistance to get off the beach as the surf was breaking over the cliff steps. The Inshore Lifeboat veered down into the bay in order to place a crewman ashore who was able to assist the yacht skipper and coastguard off the beach. The video shows the ILB veering down.
A diver was washing into a gully on the edge of the Mewstone, crews assisted before the casualty was winched by R193 and flown ashore.
Three persons cut off by the tide in Whitsand Bay
Search conducted in the Bigbury Bay area for a missing 18 year old male. The Plymouth Lifeboat searched the area along with rescue helicopter R193 and Plymouth and Yealm Coastguard Teams on the shore.
The ALB was launched to a broken down RIB drifting in unpleasant conditions off Stoke Point. The people on board were transferred to the Lifeboat before the vessel was towed back to Plymouth.
